The tournament will be played under the official FIDE Laws of Chess, version 1 July 2009, with the following changes and/or additions:

1. The rate of play is 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes with 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move from the start of the game.
    
2. In contrast to FIDE rule 6.6a any player who arrives at the chess board 60 minutes or more after the start of the session shall lose the game, unless the arbiter decides otherwise.
    
3. In case of equal scores after the final round, the following tie break rules will be used, if necessary:
   1. The result(s) of the mutual game(s)
   2. Sonnenborn-Berger
   3. Drawing of the lot (or, when players agree and time permits, playing Blitz games)
