The tournament will be played under the official FIDE Laws of Chess for competitions starting on or after 1 July 2014, with the following changes and/or additions:

1. The rate of play is 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes with 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move from the start of the game.
    
2. The default time is 60 minutes. Any player who arrives at the chessboard after the default time shall lose the game unless the arbiter decides otherwise.
    
3. In case of equal scores after the final round, the following tie break rules will be used, if necessary:
   1. The result(s) of the mutual game(s)
   2. Sonnenborn-Berger
   3. Drawing of the lot (or, when players agree and time permits, playing Blitz games)
